PO­LICE are search­ing for three men who stole fish­ing and camp­ing gear from a 60-year-old man in Dawesville. Man­durah De­tec­tives said the rob­bery oc­curred on Wed­nes­day, Oc­to­ber 25, about 12.15pm. The man was with his car at the park­ing bays at Tims Thicket Road when he was ap­proached by three men.

They threat­ened him and stole his fish­ing and camp­ing gear, along with other per­sonal items, be­fore leav­ing the car park area in a white or sil­ver Holden Rodeo with a canopy. One of the men is de­scribed as be­ing in his 30s, with fair skin, about 180cm tall, of solid build, with dark hair, a patchy stub­ble beard and spoke with an Ir­ish ac­cent. He was wear­ing a grey T-shirt and brown chi­nos.
