Mandurah Coastal Times - - REVUE ENTERTAINMENT -

THIS month’s free Hot Shore Shuffle concert showcases the City Slickers, a new bluegrass ensemble that brings together some of WA’s finest bluegrass and acoustic country musicians.

Featuring Australia’s national banjo champion and multi-Golden Guitar winner Ian Simpson (Slim Dustry Band, Paul Kelly and the Stormwater Boys) with Wayne Perry (Bluegrass Parkway) on vocals and guitar, Adam Gare (Paul Kelly’s Uncle Bill, Nansing Quartet) on fiddle and mandolin and Peter Harper (Flash Jack, Mucky Duck Bush Band) on bass, the band brings together a wealth of experience in the bluegrass and country genres plus fine harmony singing.

There will also be a dance workshop mid-performance to get the audience involved, as well as an Oxfam craft stall.
