PEEL Thunder Football Club members will be pounding the pavement for a good cause.

They are taking part in the Up All Night walking marathon on December 1 to raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities WA.

Walking in an overnight marathon won’t be easy, but it is nothing compared to being the parent of a sick child.

Ronald McDonald House is the home away from home for families who need to travel to Perth so their sick child can get emergency medical treatment.

Peel Thunder participants have raised about $3000, which is enough to cover the cost of 14 nights accommodation for seriously ill children and their families.
