What you need:

Taro root Wa­ter A stone mor­tar and pes­tle Pot

In­struc­tions:

pot un­til soft 1. Boil the taro in a large cut into small pieces. 2. Peel the taro root and a stone pes­tle, 3. Mash the taro with out all the mak­ing sure you pound lumps. poi is smooth 4. Add in wa­ter un­til the and sticky. Poi is a na­tive Hawai­ian sta­ple food made from Taro – kind of like mashed potato. You can eat poi with just about any­thing as a side or mixed in with some­thing else de­li­cious!
