Muay Thai training is offered Monday to Friday with Fitlife owner and Muay Thai trainer Sean Hopley.
There is also group classes, one on one training and tailored sessions available with experienced personal trainers.
Mr Hopley said it was important to warm up before exercising.
“For our Muay Thai sessions we do a heavy warm-up before we get into any pad work,” he said.
“We generally start with a run followed by a stretch of all muscles then a small game of some sort, skip and then the actual pad work itself.”
Foam rollers can be used to apply pressure to specific points on the body which aid in the recovery of muscles and assist in returning them to normal function.
Fitlife 24/7 also stocks Liniment oil, a lotion which can provide relief from muscular aches and pains, bruising, strains and
sprains. Mr Hopley said light training could help in strengthening the muscles around an injury which could help with preventing future issues.
