Southerners win back-to-back premierships
Southerners have claimed their second Lower South West Football League premiership in a row after defeating Imperials by 29 points in at stellar game of football at Imperials Oval on Saturday. With only six points separating the teams at half-time, the second half provided an entertaining spectacle for the hundreds of people who turned out to watch. THE Lower South West Football League Grand Final at Imperials Oval on Saturday drew a crowd of hundreds to see the day of action.
In Colts, Deanmill defeated Tigers 121-35, in Reserves Southerners defeated Imperials 71-32 and in League Southerners defeated Imperials 94-65.
Grand Final best on ground went to Deanmill’s Rory Sparks in Colts, Southerners’ Joshua Groom in Reserves and Southerners’ Trent Fox in League.
