South­ern­ers have claimed their sec­ond Lower South West Football League premier­ship in a row af­ter de­feat­ing Im­pe­ri­als by 29 points in at stel­lar game of football at Im­pe­ri­als Oval on Satur­day. With only six points sep­a­rat­ing the teams at half-time, the sec­ond half pro­vided an en­ter­tain­ing spec­ta­cle for the hun­dreds of peo­ple who turned out to watch. THE Lower South West Football League Grand Final at Im­pe­ri­als Oval on Satur­day drew a crowd of hun­dreds to see the day of ac­tion.

In Colts, Dean­mill de­feated Tigers 121-35, in Re­serves South­ern­ers de­feated Im­pe­ri­als 71-32 and in League South­ern­ers de­feated Im­pe­ri­als 94-65.

Grand Final best on ground went to Dean­mill’s Rory Sparks in Colts, South­ern­ers’ Joshua Groom in Re­serves and South­ern­ers’ Trent Fox in League.
