MEMBERS of the Manjimup Sing Australia choir have been singing the praises of their new uniforms.

Choir members received the uniforms thanks to the Bannister Downs Hand in Hand Project.

“When we sing in public our group is now distinctive in uniforms,” choir spokeswoman Gail Brierley said.

“Our group really appreciates and applauds the contribution made by Bannister Downs to organisations in the Shire of Manjimup.”

Sing Australia has been active in Manjimup since 2013 and started as a way to encourage the public to join a group that promoted singing for its health benefits, fun and to contribute to the community by singing in public.

The group’s activities over the past four years have included various Christmas and community performances.

Sing Australia Manjimup meets at the Manjimup Family and Community Centre meeting room 1 from 7pm to 9pm on Wednesdays.

Call 9771 8447 or 9776 1345 for more information about the group.
