Emergency services deserve support

Manjimup-Bridgetown Times - - News -

NO ONE can overestimate the good work emergency services do for our region.

Emergency services volunteers deserve recognition because it is their time, dedication and safety they are willing to put on the line.

Firefighting volunteers have been preparing for the bushfire season with a hands-on assessment of rural properties’ bushfire preparedness last Saturday and a meet-and-greet with the public this Saturday.

Year after year, these volunteers and everyone involved in bushfire prevention, urge people to prepare their properties for the upcoming bushfire season.

Whether it is setting up a bushfire action plan or cleaning out your gutters of leaf debris, any action could potentially make a difference.

Volunteers put in so much effort to keep the community safe, the least residents can do is prepare their homes for the bushfire season.
