Gen­er­a­tions re­turn to re­gion

The Leonard-Maslin fam­ily re­union held in Bridgetown at the week­end had a great turn out, with about 60 peo­ple in at­ten­dance.

The fam­ily is one of the old­est in the re­gion, with the first de­scen­dants ar­riv­ing in the 1870s.

Fam­ily mem­bers spanned across sev­eral gen­er­a­tions, with 87-year-old Faye Ful­lam the old­est rel­a­tive at the re­union and eight-month-old Lucy Lam­pard the youngest.

Her­bert and Edith Leonard, whom the fam­ily de­scended from.

Faye Ful­lam, 87, and Lucy Lam­pard, eight months, were the old­est and the youngest fam­ily mem­bers at the re­union on Satur­day.

Di­rect de­scen­dants Gary Jef­frey, of Har­vey, Judy Mi­hich, of Bun­bury, Wayne Blythe, of Har­vey, Deb­bie Fenn, of Gelorup, and Lisa An­dony, of Har­vey.
