Women join event

Manjimup-Bridgetown Times - - Time Life -

Kin Women travelled to Manjimup over the weekend and held events across town aimed at empowering women.

Co-founder Penny Webb said this was the first event they had done in a regional town.

“We want to create opportunities for conversations about things that really matter to women,” she said.

“I think in smaller regional towns this can be quite hard so we want to start providing a platform for it to become possible.”

She said the group hoped this event would not be the last, and in the future they wanted to travel to other towns.

The event on Friday night had about 100 people in attendance.
