Apex Club se­niors’ Christ­mas bash

Se­niors will have their con­tri­bu­tions recog­nised at the Man­jimup Apex Club’s an­nual Se­nior Ci­ti­zens Christ­mas Lunch later this month.

The lunch will be held on Novem­ber 25 from 11.30am at the Man­jimup Town Hall.

The free event is de­signed to give back to the se­niors of the com­mu­nity.

Man­jimup Apex Club pres­i­dent Tari Jef­fers said it was vi­tal to pro­vide a fun event for the se­niors to thank them for their com­mit­ment to Man­jimup through­out years.

“Their ser­vice is in­valu­able and it’s im­por­tant that we hon­our their con­tri­bu­tion,” Miss Jef­fers said. “We take great pride in pro­vid­ing the best food and en­ter­tain­ment we can.”

The town hall will be dec­o­rated for the event.

En­ter­tain­ment will be pro­vided with Christ­mas car­ols, an ap­pear­ance by the Man­jimup Singers and a visit from Fa­ther Christ­mas.

The Man­jimup Apex Club, a lo­cal ser­vice club that has been run­ning since the 1950s, is a vol­un­teer-run or­gan­i­sa­tion and aims to do good in the com­mu­nity. RSVP for the event at the Man­jimup Newsagency by Novem­ber 21.
