Another doctor, and her family, now call Mansfield home
MANSFIELD has welcomed yet another fantastic medical practitioner to its ranks with the arrival of obstetrician Dr Marian Morrissey.
Dr Morrissey has a particular interest in antenatal care and the delivery of babies.
After spending her years as a junior doctor working in Townsville, Dr Morrissey undertook her obstetrics training at the King Edward Hospital in Perth before moving to Mansfield with her husband Heath and their three children.
Dr Morrissey has been a doctor now for five years, has a diploma of child health and is undertaking her General Practitioner (GP) training in Mansfield, meaning she will soon become a GP obstetrician.
She will practice at Central General Practice Mansfield and in Emergency at Mansfield District Hospital, and also aims to work up on the ski fields during the snow season.
Dr Morrissey’s family love their camping and are looking forward to the ski season, and she says her three children love Mansfield and are fitting in well.
WELCOME: Mansfield’s newest doctor, Dr Marian Morrissey, stands with Dr Will Twycross. Dr Morrissey has a particular interest in antenatal care and the delivery of babies.
