TURN BACK TIME THIS SUNDAY:

Mansfield Courier - - NEWS -

This weekend it is possible to do exactly what Cher suggested when she sang, “If I could turn back time,” because it is the end of Daylight Savings.

This Sunday, April 2, the clocks officially wind back one hour at 3am.

While this means there is more daylight in the morning, it also means struggling to get up that little bit earlier as our body clocks adjust.

Luckily, the turn-back occurs on the first weekend of the school holidays, which means children have a full two weeks to adjust to the earlier clock settings. But who is any parent kidding? It’s school holidays – the only time of the year when the kids refuse to sleep in past 7am.
