Spring snow season is just getting started

Mansfield Courier - - NEWS -

THE fresh snow just keeps on falling at Mt Buller.

There is currently an average depth of 185cm – and most of that is natural.

And even more good news for snow bunnies – the season has been extended.

Skiing and boarding will continue until October 8 and the lifts will run over that time, so there’s still plenty of chances to get up there and enjoy the best spring skiing we’ve had in years.

Everything is open on top except Fanny’s Finish and the Chutes, which remain closed due to avalanche danger.

You’d be mad not to go for a ride right now.

DEEP COVERAGE: And there’s still lots of snow around to get some big air in the Skyline Terrain Park, like snowboarder Robbie Walker.

OPEN SEASON: The ski lifts will remain open on Buller until October 8 this year.

WONDERLAND: There’s still plenty of time left to get the kids up to the mountain to build a snowman.
