Mansfield Kindergarten turns 65

Mansfield Courier - - WHAT’S ON -

THE Mansfield Kindergarten is turning 65 years young next month, and they want the whole of Mansfield to celebrate.

As part of their birthday celebrations, there will be a Ride-A-Walk-A-Thon for all ages – culminating in a miniature children’s fair in the median strip.

To be held on October 14 at 10am, the birthday party kicks off with a community ride – or walk – from the Visitor Information Centre, walking out along the rail trail to Howes Creek Road before heading back to the Mansfield median strip.

There, the Mansfield Kindergarten will host a special sausage sizzle and fun activities that are designed to replicate a good old fashioned children’s fair – games like quoits and hopscotch.

Entry is by gold coin donation – and all funds raised go back to Mansfield’s only not for profit kindergarten, the Mansfield Kinder.
