Terip Terip are tennis champs
TERIP Terip were simply too good for Euroa Purple in the EDWTC grand final last Monday.
Played in warm but windy conditions at Euroa, Terip got off to a good start winning the first set 8-2 and narrowly losing the second in a tie break.
The second set saw them win 8-1 and 8-2, while the final pairings were much closer.
Terip won these 8-6 and 8-7; this time taking the tie break to win 5 sets to 1, and 47 games to 26.
Many supporters watched on and enjoyed the celebrations after.
It had been a successful season with many players taking to the court and much tennis being played throughout the colder winter months.
