Com­mu­nity bank gives funds

THE lat­est batch of spon­sor­ship re­cip­i­ents were an­nounced last week at the Mans­field and Dis­trict Com­mu­nity Bank.

For 2017/18, the bank launched the over­ar­ch­ing theme of its spon­sor­ship pro­gram: ‘Sup­port­ing Chil­dren and Fam­i­lies’.

Each re­cip­i­ent group pre­sented their projects to the bank, demon­strat­ing ben­e­fits towards sup­port­ing chil­dren and fam­i­lies within Mans­field and sur­round­ing dis­tricts. These in­cluded: Mans­field Soc­cer Club - soc­cer clinic; Mans­field Cubby House - out­door play equip­ment; A Third Hand Vol­un­teers Inc - Mans­field Half Marathon and Fun Run; Jamieson Com­mu­nity Group - Jamieson Au­tumn Fes­ti­val 2018; Up2Us Land­care Al­liance - Land­care learn­ing; Mans­field Dis­trict Hospi­tal - Mother Goose pro­gram; Mans­field CWA - CWA baby bas­kets; Arts Coun­cil of Mans­field - High Street Haiku; Mans­field Lit­tle Ath­let­ics - tim­ing sys­tem; and Mans­field Kin­der­garten - front en­trance re­vi­tal­i­sa­tion. A to­tal of $33,700 was dis­trib­uted for this spon­sor­ship round, tak­ing the to­tal amount in­vested back into the Mans­field and dis­trict com­mu­nity to over $400,000.
