Re­mem­brance Day ser­vice in Mans­field

THE Mans­field RSL sub­branch and the Mans­field Shire will be con­duct­ing a Re­mem­brance Day ser­vice at Mans­field’s Memo­rial Gate com­menc­ing at 10:30am on Satur­day, Novem­ber 11.

The Mans­field Pri­mary School singer and the MAD Orches­tra will be per­form­ing dur­ing the ser­vice.

The guest speaker will be the RSL vice pres­i­dent, Gra­ham God­ber, sub-branch his­to­rian.

The Mans­field Fire Bri­gade will sound the fire siren dur­ing the ser­vice.

Af­ter a minute’s si­lence, the fire siren will again be sounded.

All serv­ing and past mem­bers of the ADF are re­quested to wear medals and/ or dec­o­ra­tions as ap­pro­pri­ate.

All mem­bers of the pub­lic are in­vited to at­tend and par­tic­i­pate in the ser­vice.

Agen­cies and in­di­vid­u­als are re­quested to bring flo­ral trib­utes prior to the com­mence­ment of the ser­vice.

Ar­range­ments have been made with VicRoads, the Mans­field Shire and Vic­to­ria Po­lice to di­vert ve­hic­u­lar traf­fic from Highett Street for the du­ra­tion of the ser­vice.
