Curtin closes on JJ’s latest challenger
THE Bonnie Doon Brotherhood has claimed yet another scalp after JJ Curtin easily outboxed his latest opponent at the Werribee Sporting Club.
After the win that comes off the back of his silver medal in the UK, JJ’s coach Kel Bryant said JJ had trained hard for the comeback fight, and will now take a well-earned rest with his brothers before they all return next year and get into training camp.
It will be an exciting year ahead with Youth Olympics and Youth World Championships all taking place.
Coach Bryant has backed JJ to make his mark and show everyone how far he can go, as he looks more and more polished every time he steps into the ring.
“It’s really exciting – I believe these young men can go all the way,” coach Bryant said.
