Mans­field un­der 14 boys play state qual­i­fiers in Shepparton

JU­NIOR bas­ket­ball has a new elec­tronic score­board at the Mercy Cen­tre.

Spe­cial thanks to Michelle Pig­don for pre­par­ing the fund­ing pro­posal.

Thanks also to Mans­field Coun­cil for the Com­mu­nity Grant Fund­ing and to St Marys for al­low­ing us to in­stall the score­board at the Mercy Cen­tre.

This week­end we have 10 teams (80 play­ers) rep­re­sent­ing Mans­field Bas­ket­ball Club com­pet­ing at the Wan­garatta Ju­nior Bas­ket­ball Tour­na­ment.

Our teams have been train­ing for a cou­ple of months and are keen to hit the courts.

Teams from all over the state will be there to com­pete and we wish our play­ers, coaches and team man­agers good luck.

We would like to thank Bendigo Bank for spon­sor­ing our ju­nior do­mes­tic bas­ket­ball team uni­forms (28 teams).
