Llynda puts on a show for St Mary’s Primary School

Mansfield Courier - - NEWS -

ST Mary’s Primary School have recently had a fabulous performer, Llynda, who put on a show for staff and students to enjoy.

In You Can Do It Too, Llynda plays a character called Madeline, a working mum, who enjoys her cleaning job but whose real passion and hobby is juggling.

Using juggling as a metaphor for learning, Madeline discovers that mistakes are OK, that is how we learn and with encouragement from the audience she decides to audition for a job in a circus.

Each student took something different away from the performance, but there was much self-esteem, self-discipline and self-determination.

The performance also encourages students to use their motor skills, which were put into action with lots of juggling in the yard afterwards.

JUGGLING: Students (from left) Elijah McGuigan, Tumaia Graham and Mila Walsh learn some new juggling tricks with Llynda.

AMAZING: Leah Storer and Llynda showcasing their talent.
