Chef turns inmates into bakers
Gordon Behind Bars, Seven, Monday at 9.55pm
IN THIS explosive series, chef Gordon Ramsay (pictured) is locked up in the infamous Brixton Prison.
He’s going to try and set up a catering company within the prison, with food cooked by the prisoners.
Over a six-month period, he teaches a dozen of the inmates how to cook and run a sustainable business selling goods prepared inside the prison to the general public.
After their training, the inmate chefs are formed into a business dubbed “Bad Boys’ Bakery”.
For the inmates, it’s a shot at learning a new trade and the possibility of a better life after release.
But can they handle the heat of the kitchen and the mentoring style of the hot-headed celebrity chef?
