Renowned Queensland family owned and operated aged care provider, TriCare, will unveil 80 new state-of-the-art aged care suites at its Kawana Waters Aged Care Residence in June 2018.

The new wing offers residents spacious luxury accommodation, the latest in clinical technology and high quality care.

All suites boast European style ensuites, individual climate controlled air conditioning, German designed and built automated bed recliner, large wall mounted flat screen TV with Foxtel and wifi.

Complete with a cafe, hair salon, luxurious lounge areas and fresh nutritious meals prepared daily by the on-site chef, the new wing provides a very modern take on the future of aged care living.

Facility Manager Sue Doust says TriCare Kawana Waters is dedicated to providing fresh and delicious food for breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything in between.

“Our meal times focus on choice, presentation and seasonality, as well as providing a regular social connection for residents,” she said.

In addition to the three new dining rooms, residents will also have the option to enjoy meals on the outdoor terraces or in the comfort of their own room.

An innovative lifestyle program tailor made for residents provides a range of activities including pet therapy, gentle exercise, cookery and social events.

Resident Tex Kenny said there is just about anything and everything to do including bingo, carpet bowls and a putting green if you wish to partake.

“I don’t think you’d be better off anywhere else – in fact I’m sure of it,” said Mr Kenny.
