IGA rethink needed

McIvor Times - - NEWS -

I WILL never understand why the owners of IGA Heathcote did not rent another building temporarily in Heathcote to run their supermarket until the new building is built.

The old building could have been knocked down and cleaned up in two days.

Construction of a building long term around shoppers and families can be very dangerous.

I see elderly shoppers pushing their trolleys along the footpaths.

They are trying to push their trolleys straight but run off the footpaths; makes it hard to push the trolleys straight and they have to push them a long way around the back to the car park.

The front of IGA on the main road is an accident waiting to happen.

It is going to be a nightmare for the builders and the IGA staff. Brian Dillon Heathcote
