Lo­cals in­vited to visit au­di­ol­o­gists for as­sess­ment and sound ad­vice

AUS­TRALIAN Hear­ing has opened a new vis­it­ing lo­ca­tion at Heath­cote.

Com­mu­nity mem­bers are in­vited to come down to Ex­pert Real Es­tate at 89 High Street for morn­ing tea on Thursday, September 14 and learn what’s on of­fer to im­prove hear­ing health – peo­ple may get a new lease on life af­ter hav­ing their hear­ing checked.

Head­ing up the team of hear­ing ex­perts that will at­tend the vis­it­ing cen­tre morn­ing tea are Aus­tralian Hear­ing man­ager Natalie Betts and Car­man Chu.

Both Natalie and Car­man are ex­pe­ri­enced au­di­ol­o­gists and mem­bers of Aus­tralian Hear­ing’s large fam­ily of au­di­ol­o­gists in over 535 cen­tres around the coun­try.

“Au­di­ol­o­gists are ex­ten­sively trained in se­lect­ing, car­ry­ing out and in­ter­pret­ing a full range of hear­ing as­sess­ments. They’re well placed to de­ter­mine whether some­one needs med­i­cal in­ter­ven­tion or hear­ing re­ha­bil­i­ta­tion ser­vices,” Natalie said.

“The Aus­tralian Hear­ing team is re­ally ex­cited to ex­tend our cov­er­age in the lo­cal area and pro­vide high­qual­ity hear­ing ser­vices from our new lo­ca­tion.”

Heath­cote Aus­tralian Hear­ing staff will be on hand to pro­vide hear­ing as­sess­ments, hear­ing de­vice fit­tings and re­ha­bil­i­ta­tion sup­port.

“Heath­cote lo­cals can ex­pect per­son­alised ser­vice from friendly pro­fes­sion­als and easy ac­cess to our new vis­it­ing site,’’ Natalie said.

Aus­tralian Hear­ing staff take a car­ing ap­proach when look­ing af­ter peo­ple’s hear­ing needs and are al­ways on hand to pro­vide re­li­able ad­vice.

“We will in­crease the ser­vice at Heath­cote as de­mand in­creases,” Natalie added.
