Van in town to talk NDIS

IF YOU live with a disability or know someone who does, and want to know more about the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), catch the NDIS intereach information iVan at the Heathcote Family Fun Day at Barrack Reserve this Friday.

Intereach provides services to rural and remote communities and works alongside children, families, older people, carers and people living with a disability.

The iVan has made 74 visits across the region since late last year, and Heathcote is next on its agenda.

“The great thing about iVan is because we’re out in the community and quite visible, people will approach us for a chat,” Intereach chief executive Keryn Fox said.

“iVan really gets us into the heart of our local communities, helps us meet people face-to-face and be able to answer their questions about the NDIS.

“So, if you’re at the Heathcote Summer Family Day, stop by for a chat, we’re always happy to help.”

Area coordinator Erin Smith and the Intereach NDIS information van will be at the Heathcote Family Fun Day on Friday.
