The best part — you don’t have to have the skills of a chef to recreate these dishes. The zucchini chips, radish and white bean salad and the roasted beetroot dip were my favourite recipes in the book, which I particularly loved because you only need simple ingredients to make them.
One thing I did miss was the preparation and cooking times from the recipes. Not knowing how long something is going to take to cook is a bit of a deal breaker, and it did put me off throwing the apron on. However, the twins’ story and personal photos woven throughout, plus the fact there is a dish for every occasion, made this book a wonderful read and a staple for any kitchen.
