MINT JULEP

CRAN­BERRY LIME MOCK­TAIL Serves: 2 Time: 1 minute

Serves: 2 Serves: 4 Time: 2 hours ¼ ¼ 1 1 cups cran­berry-rasp­berry juice cups lemon-lime flavoured soft drink ½ ½ In a jug, mix the cran­berry-rasp­berry juice with the lemon-lime soft drink. Pour over ice and serve.

WA­TER­MELON FIZZ 120 ml wa­ter 120 ml soda wa­ter 300 ml lemon­ade 300 ml grape­fruit juice 1–2 straw­ber­ries 4–5 mint leaves 1 ruby grape­fruit 1 orange Fill one ice cube tray with lemon­ade and an­other with grape­fruit juice. Chop straw­ber­ries into small pieces and drop one piece into each lemon­ade cube and do the same with the mint leaves and the grape­fruit juice. Leave trays in freezer un­til frozen. Mix the re­main­ing lemon­ade and grape­fruit juice with the soda wa­ter and wa­ter in a jug. Peel and re­move the pith from the ruby grape­fruit and orange and cut into small (1 cm) pieces and add to the jug. Place three or four ice cubes of each flavour into in­di­vid­ual glasses and top up with the mix­ture in the jug. cup real lemon­ade (not fizzy drink) Fresh mint sprigs, for gar­nish In a small saucepan com­bine the wa­ter, sugar and chopped mint. Stir and bring to a boil. Cook un­til sugar has dis­solved then re­move from heat and set aside to cool. Af­ter about an hour, strain out mint leaves. Fill 2 cups or frozen glasses with crushed ice.
