MUR­DOCH po­lice are chas­ing in­for­ma­tion after a credit card was stolen from Cool­bellup and used fraud­u­lently in mid-Septem­ber. A po­lice spokesman said items, in­clud­ing the card, were taken from a car on Hilory Street some­time be­tween 6pm on Septem­ber 16 and 10am on Septem­ber 17. “This card has then been used at mul­ti­ple stores in Myaree and Hamil­ton Hill,” he said. Any­one with in­for­ma­tion should con­tact Crime Stop­pers and quote ref­er­ence num­ber 8651.

■ PO­LICE con­tinue to ap­peal for wit­nesses as they hunt the iden­tity of a man they say com­mit­ted an in­de­cent act while in a car parked at a Melville re­serve last month. Po­lice said a woman walked past a blue sedan at Marmion Re­serve on Marmion Street about 12.45pm on Sun­day, Septem­ber 17. “A per­son who was nearby be­gan call­ing out to­wards the man in the blue sedan, who it is be­lieved was com­mit­ting an in­de­cent act,” a po­lice spokesman said. “The woman be­came con­cerned and ran back to her ve­hi­cle and drove away.” The man is be­tween 50 and 60 years old, 150-160cm tall and had a grey beard.
