Jailed for drug offences
A MAN has been sentenced to one month in jail for a variety of drug possession and counterfeit money offences.
William Worrell pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis, possessing methylamphetamine, possessing a controlled weapon, attempting to obtain a prohibited drug, possessing drug paraphernalia and knowingly possessing counterfeit money at Fremantle Magistrates court.
Police discovered 40 pills in his home thought to be MDMA or ecstasy on November 1, 2017.
Police also found pepper spray, $300 in counterfeit notes, 28 grams of cannabis, one gram of meth and other drug paraphernalia.
Worrell is currently in prison serving an 18month sentence. His most recent sentence will be served concurrently. He will be eligible for parole in nine months.
