FULLERS BOOKSHOP, TUESDAY, 5.30PM Environmental lawyer James Thornton founded Client Earth, a legal charity taking governments to court over environmental misdemeanours. Taking on a planet as a client is unconventional, but the work of this 60-strong legal firm based in London demonstrates how individuals can make a difference in a corporate-driven world. Thornton and Martin Goodman, coauthor of Client Earth, the book, will be in conversation with former Australian Greens leader Christine Milne, with the focus on how citizens can use public interest law.
