The Hindu fes­ti­val of lights cel­e­brates the vic­tory of light over dark­ness and good over evil. And this Fri­day the Street Eats @ Franko night mar­ket at Ho­bart’s Franklin Square will come alive with the food, mu­sic and colours of In­dia and South East Asia to cel­e­brate Diwali. There will be cultural per­for­mances in­clud­ing Bol­ly­wood danc­ing. The fam­ily-friendly event runs from 4.30pm-9pm and en­try is free.
