ELEMENTARY, MY DEAR WATSON
Mark Watson went into his local VW dealer to buy a Tiguan and drove away in a Golf. “We didn’t go in there looking for a Golf but we were really taken by the look of it,” he says. “It’s also bigger than we’d imagined. It doesn’t feel like a small car.” He took it for a test drive and was sold. “I really loved the driving feel — the Golf is really nicely appointed and really good to drive,” he says.
He traded in a 13-year-old Touareg that had never given him trouble and, though he considered Mazda and Hyundai early in the piece, the service he’d received over the years from North Shore Volkswagen in Sydney sealed the deal.
