TasWater fight ‘political game’

TASWATER chairman Miles Hampton has told the Economic Society of Australia’s Tasmanian branch that the council-owned company was being used as a political football in the State Government’s “fight with local government”.

The Government wants to take over TasWater but Mr Hampton said it should be left to continue its reforms.
