On-notice pair deliver the goods in bedroom

Mercury (Hobart) - - NEWSFRONT -

JASON and Sarah have stayed on The Block after what judge Neale Whitaker calls “the best comeback ever”.

The Melbourne couple had been given an ultimatum by host Scott Cam that they had to deliver their master bed- room suite and kitchen this week to be able to remain on Nine’s renovation show.

The pair delivered a smashing master bedroom suite that had Whitaker, Shaynna Blaze and Darren Palmer in raptures with its sleek styling and beautiful ensuite bathroom.

Jason and Sarah had the second highest score of 28.5 out of 30 for their kitchen but could not top Josh and Elyse’s perfect 30 out of 30.

Josh and Elyse’s triumph came because they reoriented their island bench to look over the back garden. A hidden butler’s pantry was another asset.

“The [natural] light in here is just insane,” Palmer said.

All three judges thought the kitchen’s connection to the dining, lounge and garden was a massive tick.

Ronnie and Georgia scored 28 out of 30 for their kitchen, which Blaze described as “sexy” with its island bench, porcelain splashback and hitech induction cooktop.
