Mercury (Hobart) - - TELEVISION - Gardening Australia Royal Murder Mysteries

ABC, 6.30pm We can’t all have a gloriously big patch of land or a meticulously arranged oasis but we can indulge in our love of gardening, thanks to the passionate team on GardeningAustralia. You may barely set foot on freshly aerated soil, but you’ll feel like you have after enjoying the diverse segments in tonight’s show. Costa Georgiadis (pictured) takes us to a surprising city oasis, while Jane Edmanson visits a beautiful garden built in a harsh climate. SBS, 7.35pm In this shocking and thrilling instalment of RoyalMurderMysteries, a case of bronchitis is not what it seems. In “King George V: Mercy or Murder”, the death of King George V of England, on January 20, 1936, is examined. At the time, his doctor Lord Bertrand Dawson announced he had succumbed to bronchitis, but the medico’s damning diary hid the shocking admission that he had killed his monarch. You’d best to tune in to find out all the scandalous details.
