Fired-up Limbo crew un­hinged

THE first act for next year’s Spiegel­tent Ho­bart sea­son has been re­vealed, with pop­u­lar 2016 head­lin­ers LIMBO re­turn­ing to present an­other sexy, scin­til­lat­ing spec­ta­cle in March.

Fea­tur­ing a mix of cir­cus, ac­ro­bat­ics, il­lu­sions and live mu­sic, LIMBO was the Spiegel­tent’s big-ticket at­trac­tion last year, con­sis­tently sell­ing out the 600-seat Spiegel­tent.

Now the show’s all-star in­ter­na­tional cast are com­ing back with their new show Limbo Un­hinged, an ex­plo­sive blend of py­rotech­nics, swordswal­low­ing, aerial shenani­gans and pul­sat­ing live mu­sic.

The show has earned a slew of rave re­views since premier­ing at this year’s Ade­laide Fringe Fes­ti­val.

Limbo Un­hinged stars the likes of Coney Is­land swordswal­lower and fire-breather Heather Hol­l­i­day; Brazil­ian aerial wiz Marco Motta; handto-hand ac­ro­batic duo Char­lotte O’Sul­li­van (Canada) and Ni­co­las Jel­moni (Morocco); French con­tor­tion­ist Aure­lien Ou­dot and grav­ity-de­fy­ing beat­boxer Mikael Bres; and Aus­tralian dance sen­sa­tion Hil­ton De­nis.

Af­ter an eight-week sea­son at the Syd­ney Opera House, Limbo Un­hinged will be per­formed in the Spiegel­tent at PW1 on the Ho­bart wa­ter­front from March 8April 1.
