Fired-up Limbo crew unhinged

- KANE YOUNG

THE first act for next year’s Spiegeltent Hobart season has been revealed, with popular 2016 headliners LIMBO returning to present another sexy, scintillating spectacle in March.

Featuring a mix of circus, acrobatics, illusions and live music, LIMBO was the Spiegeltent’s big-ticket attraction last year, consistently selling out the 600-seat Spiegeltent.

Now the show’s all-star international cast are coming back with their new show Limbo Unhinged, an explosive blend of pyrotechnics, swordswallowing, aerial shenanigans and pulsating live music.

The show has earned a slew of rave reviews since premiering at this year’s Adelaide Fringe Festival.

Limbo Unhinged stars the likes of Coney Island swordswallower and fire-breather Heather Holliday; Brazilian aerial wiz Marco Motta; handto-hand acrobatic duo Charlotte O’Sullivan (Canada) and Nicolas Jelmoni (Morocco); French contortionist Aurelien Oudot and gravity-defying beatboxer Mikael Bres; and Australian dance sensation Hilton Denis.

After an eight-week season at the Sydney Opera House, Limbo Unhinged will be performed in the Spiegeltent at PW1 on the Hobart waterfront from March 8April 1.

The full Spiegeltent Hobart program will be announced on December 8, with tickets available from www.spiegeltenthobart.com
