Dual-citizenship flag

Mercury (Hobart) - - YOUR VOICE - Peter D. Jones Lenah Valley Mark Mifsud Goodwood Di Manser Austins Ferry

GOING to work, I noticed the Australian flag flying outside a school and it dawned on me that we have a dual-citizenship flag. Is this a time to change the flag as well as our non-Australian head of state?

Women, step forward

The men’s cricket team is trying, very trying. We should have a women’s cricket team representing Tasmania.

Fitzies and Purity

I AGREE totally in respect to change of names to wellknown businesses (Letters, November 14). I still often say I will go to “Fitzies” or I will pop down to “Purity” to get a few groceries. I also stood in a business a couple of weeks ago for about five minutes with not a staff member in sight. With all the problems with shoplifting and lack of customer service, it is rather ironic that things like this are happening.
