Crime boss steps down

AFTER four years as Crime Stoppers Tasmania boss Ron Franks has stepped down to further to develop his consultancy business.

Mr Franks has been replaced by acting chief executive Ralph Doedens, who has been with the organisation for a number of years as treasurer.

Mr Doedens has previously held some diverse CEO roles, including at RACT Insurance and Mosaic Support Services in the disability sector.

He said he was looking forward to continuing the good work of his predecessor and would continue to work with communities to create a safer Tasmania.
