Ride funds boost Life­line

LIFE­LINE Tas­ma­nia has thanked a group of bik­ers for rais­ing funds that will al­low it to ex­pand its Sui­cide Be­reave­ment Groups statewide.

Life­line Tas­ma­nia CEO Deb­bie Evans said with sui­cide con­tin­u­ing to be a lead­ing cause of death in Tas­ma­nia it was crit­i­cal ser­vices were ex­panded.

The funds raised from this year’s one-day mo­tor bike ride from Camp­bell Town to the East Coast will help fund a Sui­cide Be­reave­ment Group co­or­di­na­tor.
