Only generating power

THERE is a lot of misunderstanding in relation to the new solar tariff arrangements where people are complaining about the feed-in tariff reduction. Hydro generates power, TasNetworks transports it to our door and Aurora sell it to us for 27c a kilowatt hour. Aurora does not pay Hydro that amount. In fact, according to my bill, generation costs are 27 per cent of the total bill. Therefore the feed-in tariff should be 27 per cent of 27c. This is $0.072c per kilowatt hour.
