Teams on winning runs

Midland Reporter - - News -

THERE has been some talented junior teams on doublefigure undefeated runs across the district in 2017.

At least three local sides had not lost a game as of last Friday, with the contests heating up at the business end of the season.

In the netball ranks, the Swan Valley Anglican Community School’s U15 Division 1 team was on a 10-0 run in the Swan Districts Netball Association competition.

They were two games clear of Illusions, who had an 8-3 record.

The season finishes at the end of August, with the final game this weekend.

On the soccer field, Perth Hills United and Kalamunda United were enjoying doublefigure runs without having lost a game. Perth Hills had won 13straight in Football West’s U12 South Division 4 league.

They led Canning City SC, who had a 10-4 record.

Kalamunda had also won 13 matches, but had drawn one to give them a 13-1-0 undefeated run in the U13 South Division 2 standings.
