Draft Maida Vale Mas­ter Plan Com­plete

The draft Mas­ter Plan for the en­hance­ment of Maida Vale Re­serve is com­plete and open for pub­lic com­ment. The pur­pose of a Mas­ter Plan is to pro­vide a strat­egy and frame­work for fu­ture de­vel­op­ment of an area or site.

The plan, which has been de­vel­oped based on com­mu­nity feed­back, out­lines the op­ti­mal mix of var­i­ous sports to be played at the Re­serve whilst bal­anc­ing ac­cess to the com­mu­nity for ca­sual re­cre­ation pur­poses.

Key fea­tures of the plan in­clude up­grades to the Norm Sadler Pav­il­lion, ten­nis courts, archery com­plex, skate park, play­ground and cricket, base­ball and soc­cer fa­cil­i­ties.

Up­grades to light­ing, power sup­ply, carpark­ing, ac­cess and egress, pub­lic toi­lets and a sewer con­nec­tion are also pro­posed.
