Learn drawing, painting skills
Mid West and Gascoyne residents are invited to a series of free art workshops hosted by an experienced WA artist.
The Act Belong Commit open studios are hosted by exhibition veteran Di Taylor and will explore basic to advanced drawing skills and painting techniques.
Health and wellbeing of community members is at the forefront of the initiative, which aims to improve quality of life through art, culture, education and heritage.
Attendees are invited to bring their own work or create a new piece to be entered in the 2017 North Midlands Agricultural Society’s Art Show.
Workshops: Community Resource Centre, Morawa, on July 27; Autumn Centre, Mingenew, on July 28; Recreation Pavilion, Perenjori, on August 1; North Midlands Studio Space, Carnamah, on August 4.
