Busi­ness sup­port for se­niors di­rec­tory

The In­ner Wheel Club of Ger­ald­ton is claim­ing a win for se­niors af­ter more than 60 Ger­ald­ton busi­nesses reg­is­tered to be part of their 2017 Se­niors Di­rec­tory.

The di­rec­tory of­fers busi­ness con­tact de­tails, dis­counts, a list of se­niors cards recog­nised, emer­gency num­bers and se­niors ser­vice providers.

In­ner Wheel Club pres­i­dent Les­ley Col­liver said the new di­rec­tory would cater to every­one, with in­for­ma­tion rang­ing from health and per­sonal care, to fi­nance and as­sis­tance around the home.

“On a com­mu­nity level, the In­ner Wheel Club of Ger­ald­ton recog­nised an op­por­tu­nity to as­sist our se­niors stretch their in­come fur­ther as well as sup­port lo­cally owned busi­nesses, and then de­vel­oped the bi­en­nial Ger­ald­ton Se­niors Di­rec­tory,” she said.

The women’s ser­vice vol­un­tary or­gan­i­sa­tion will dis­trib­ute up to 3000 copies of the 2017 di­rec­tory across the Mid West.
