White wedding for former Geraldton host

Midwest Times - - THE EDGE -

Former Geraldton radio announcer Brady Ellis married his partner of 10 years in their home town of Adelaide recently.

The bride, Lily Burrow, wore a white dress when the former Geraldton residents tied the knot at Serafino Winery in McLaren Vale earlier this month. Ellis told the Midwest Times from Malaysia, where the pair are honeymooning, his pre-wedding diet had deteriorated quickly, which disappointed his wife, who is a personal trainer. “Pina coladas and curries — that’s all I’ll be consuming for the next two weeks,” he said.

Ellis hosted the Breakfast Show on Spirit 98.1FM Geraldton from 2011-2015. Since then he has worked at radio stations around the country.

This year he was named best entertainment/music announcer at the Australian Commercial Radio Awards.

He and his new wife are based in Townsville, Queensland, but hope to visit Geraldton again soon.
