Cash raised for bone marrow diseases
Geraldton’s Raema Rose-Spinks has raised $1200 in support of young people living with bone marrow failure syndromes.
The die-hard St Kilda fan handed over the cheque to charity organisation Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision in October.
Inspired by Saints star Nick Riewoldt, who lost his sister Maddie to aplastic anaemia in 2015, Ms Rose-Spinks raised almost $6000 in less than two years to help fund the organisation’s research into the disease.
She attended Riewoldt’s recent book launch, where she collected signed copies for fundraising.
