Wind farm to host free public open day
The Mumbida Wind Farm, about 40 minutes south of Geraldton, will be open to the public on Sunday, October 21.
The open day will include a tour of the farm, a craft tent, face painting, a bouncy castle and a sausage sizzle and drinks.
Self-driving is encouraged but a bus will pick up pre-registered guests from the Bill Sewell Complex at 9.10am and 10.10am free of charge on the day.
The wind farm will be open from 10am to 2pm.
All visitors to the wind farm must wear long pants and closed shoes.
