The first match resulted in victory to Batavia League legend Kaye Burton, who teamed with Val Olman, Kaye Simkin and Margy Simpson. They took the early advantage with a 13/12 over pennant skipper Pauline Forrester and her side of Eva Watson, Karen Drage and Kay Sudlow.
In game two, the Forrester quartet took honours in an outstanding 16/14 victory.
A third match was required to reveal Northampton’s champions at the 2018 BBL Champion of Champion series on the 18th November at Mullewa Bowling Club. The final match was equal to both earlier games, with neither team able to break away.
When the dust settled, it was Forrester’s foursome which claimed the match 16/14 and the club title, the aggregate of just three shots separating the two sides after 42 ends of play.
