On Sunday August 24 the Mini Invaders attended the ninth Blenheim Festival of Transport, organised by Andrew Greenwood. Blenheim Palace is one of England’s largest country houses, hosting this popular meeting of classic and exotic vehicles in the vast grounds of the estate.

The Invaders club was delighted that its member Fiona Walton won the 1980- 1989 concours class. This was special to the club, because her pink and white Mini has been used to raise funds for Against Breast Cancer, following an all- clear For Fiona after cancer treatment earlier this year.

Continuing with the club’s success for the day, Ray Smith also won first prize for his cabrio in the 1970- 1979 class. “All in all it was a good day for the Mini Invaders!” said Ray.
